Fr. Scott M. Harding was called to be the third rector of St. Joseph’s in October of 2013. He has a strong passion for bringing God’s grace and healing to the parish and community through a common vision of being partners with one another in the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ. It is his hope that those who come to St. Joseph’s, and those to whom St. Joseph’s goes, will experience the love and joy of God through worship, prayer, outreach, and relationships.

Prior to coming to St. Joseph’s, Fr. Scott served as rector of Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls, NY and Christ Church in Gilbertsville, NY. He was an associate rector at St. Thomas’ in Oakmont, PA. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh; M.Div. from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, and D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

In addition to being a proud father of four wonderful children, Fr. Scott enjoys cooking, reading, and all types of sporting events. He is an avid cyclist, and his goal for this year was once again to complete the Dirty Kanza 200, a 200-mile grueling gravel road race in middle Kansas this May. He improved on last year's race time by a couple hours. You can read about it here.
